Denise M. Snow - COO
Denise Marie Snow was raised in the Homewood section of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania where she graduated from George Westinghouse High School (Class of '97). Upon graduation, she attended Edinboro University of Pennsylvania majoring in Speech Communications. As an outspoken minority student advocate, Denise has served as the President of Alliance for Racial Identity and Cultural Acceptance, Diversity Funding Board member, United Voices of Edinboro Board member, and Office of Multicultural Affairs staff member. Denise honed her inspirational public speaking ability by serving as a conference presenter for various collegiate engagements including the Multicultural Leadership Retreat (2002), Multicultural Mentor Training (2001), and Sixth Annual Undergraduate Interdisciplinary Conference (April 2006). Denise was initiated into Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. in April 2002 through Chi Omicron Chapter at Edinboro University. She briefly served as Communications Coordinator for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania in 2002. As chapter Basileus and Grammateus, Denise’s infectious personality and strategic vision significantly improved Zeta’s visibility on campus and helped increase membership interest and student support. An avid supporter of collaboration, Denise helped Chi Omicron chapter build alliances with key constituencies to secure viability that still resonates on campus today. Denise transferred to Cheyney University of Pennsylvania and earned a Bachelor's Degree in Communications Arts in May 2006. She earned her Master's Degree in Management (Organizational Leadership and Management concentration) from Rosemont College in May 2010. Denise joined Kappa Omega Zeta chapter in 2008 where she served as Z-HOPE and Los Cherios Coordinators. She also gives generously of her time and talent to the Finer Womanhood and Stork’s Nest Committees.
Professionally, Denise works as a Student Services Director for All State Career School where she manages the retention efforts of more than 400 students. By instilling high standards of academic excellence and enhancing student engagement, Denise inspires students to improve their lives despite whatever personal challenges they face. Denise married the love of her life (Richard Snow) in June 2008. She and her husband own and operate Financial Empowerment for Minorities which serves to empower disadvantaged community members through financial literacy, professional development, and leadership training programs. Denise and Richard are devoted members of Sharon Baptist Church in Philadelphia. Denise enjoys Pittsburgh Steelers football, photography, organizing events, entertaining friends and family at home, and “building up” the next generation of leaders.
